but for PCI slot 1 and AGP (and last PCI and MR), I don't know whether physical 
location is the
key to IRQ sharing, I would rather look in the Bios config (OK in my case the two last 
PCI -i.e.
physically next to each other- share an interrupt and share it with the USB to top it 
all) but
sound usually takes IRQ 5 independently from its physical position...
I still agree with you as to the probable cause of the problem.
