Thanks you for a such detailled answer. So perhaps I could go on trying to compil CVS version of XFree4.1 and keep my 8500 Radeon. Unfortunatly, the only one CVS version I compiled make X unstable with Netscape. Is the 4.2 still schedulled for last november?
