The Radeon 7500 only works in the CVS version, and is a little buggy
(actually, the driver is buggy, not the card). Give the classic Radeon 32MB
DDR a shot. I've had major trouble with the PCI version, but the AGP version
works perfectly on a KT133 mobo with XFree86 4.1.0 and Linux 2.4.13

Subject: [Newbie]what kind of card?

I'm currently in the market for a 3d-accelerated (i.e. Mesa-supported)
graphics card (mainly so I can play tux-racer =]). I was considering the
ATI Radeon 7500 very strongly, but from what I hear here, that may not
be my best choice.
Any suggestions?
Marcel B.
