I don't exactly know the root of my problem, but I'll try to explain it anyway. I recently installed Redhat 7.1 on my computer. I couldn't use the graphical install because the installer couldn't find or use my mouse, so I used text install and it worked fine. Something funny that happened was when I would move my mouse in text mode, linux would freeze up. (I fixed this by simply not loading gpm). However, I still can't get into xwindows. When I run startx, it loads up like everything's normal and then when it finishes neither the keyboard nor my PS/2 mouse do anything. I have a riva tnt video card and I downloaded the newest drivers and installed them, so I don't think there is a problem with the video card. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
