I don't wanna bitch, but I've seen 32MB cards that have trouble decoding DVD 
and you're only using a 4MB card......
Personally I'm a nVIdia guy, the GeForce2 64MB is very affordable at the 
moment and should be sufficient + that nvidia writes drivers for them 
(XFree86 linux only!!! no *BSD). I believe the 2 biggest groups used here are 
nvidia and ati. Know I don't have knowledge about ati cards but I'm sure 
somebody else here can advise you on those if you like
