Hi there,
I installed Debian-Potato 2.2r2, Kernel 2.2.18pre21, and after using
anXious to configure X-server 3.3.6 I can not get virtual consoles F1-F6 in
TEXT MODE anymore. Switching to F1 for example image is completely nuts. It
seems to be out of correct frequency.
So, I decided to remove XF86Config and reboot so that everything
goes back to normal. But in this case, I can not get X running, obviously.
Does anyone know exactly what is going on with XF86Config ?
Why does it mess up with virtual TEXT mode console (F1-F6) ?
There are copies of X -probeonly and XF86Config file attached below.
