[Newbie]Changing Resolution.

I have installed XFree86 4.0.2, it works, but it doesn't use all the screen,
and I cannot the whole windows... how can I change this resolution???

I created the XF86Config file using:

XFree86 -configure

It created a file XF86Config.new, I renamed it and it works, I haven't moved
anything from the file.

Could anybody help me to solve this problem?
