No go for now... Currently the GeForce2 Go is supported only by nVidia's
binary drivers, and then, only on Linux. Unfortunately, you're stuck with
vesa for now...

Subject: [Newbie]XFree 4.1.0, with NVIDIA GeForce 2 Go and FreeBSD 4.4

I try to start XFree86 4.1.0 on my Dell Inspiron 8100 with an Nvidia
GeForce 2 Go and FreeBSD 4.4. I configured the nv driver and the XFree
starts without an error but the output on the screen is garbaged. The
display have a resolution of 1600x1200.

I tried the vesa driver as well, but this works only up to the resolution
of 1280x1024.

Any hints?

bye, arno
