Yeah, I know it too, but eisfair is booting by disk and gets the rest of it
from internet.  And it works with pcmcia adapters, so I want to use it for
my notebook. I thought to install it on this way and copying xfree86 through
ftp.

The Path I startet startx was /usr/X11R6/ because it isn't found anywhere
else. What other path do you mean?
