Hallo, I'm a Newbie here and hope I won't hit any rules in this mailing list. My Hardware is a Pentium 100 with 64 MB of RAM and a 800 MB hdd. Software is eisfair (www.eisfair.org) This linux distributation is a mini linux kernel 2.4.x with just necessary tools and glibc (libc6). I wanted to work XFree86 for my eisfair out, but it doesn't work! I'm able to start XF86Config to configure my system and it works. But to be able to start startx I must be in /usr/X11R6 and I don't believe this is correct. After trying to start startx I just get the error message:
---snip--- workstation 1.0b # startx xinit: error while loading shared libraries: libXaw.so.6: cannot open shared obj ect file: No such file or directory ---snip--- I've used the files from Linux-ix86-glibc21. Is there any better chance with Linux-ix86-glibc20 ? Or have I done another mistake?
