I was not making up words. I merely pointed out that the form that somebody else used (and which you said was the plural of virus) -- virii -- was wrong. Clearly, it was an attempt to use a Latin plural and I provided the correct Latin plural. Nowhere in my message did I make any statement about the English plural form.
