I downloaded the driver for my Ltmodem but it needed kernel 2.4.9-12. So I
went and downloaded the source and the header as well as cpp, patch, and
gcc. I installed all the above rpms and then reconfigured and recompiled the
kernel. KDE Control-Panel says that I have kernel 2.4.9-12customised. When I
clicked on the ltmodem rpm, it says that it requires kernel 2.4.9-12. What
gives??
