Hi, Before installing XFree86 4.1.0, I didn't have any X system on my Debian Linux.
After downloading binaries, I used "sh Xinstall.sh" to install 4.1.0, and then used "xf86config" to set up my system. It works. I can use "startx" to run X, but.... I can't exit X correctly. When I started X, I only three xterm window and nothing else. When I click "exit" on pop menu trying to terminate X, it doesn't work. The system just hung, I can't use mouse any more but I still can type in those three xterms. I only can use Ctrl+Alt+Backspace to terminate X. What did I do wrong? or What did I miss? Please help me. Thanks. Yu-Fong _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
