XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server ":0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.
The latest version of the crash is very similar but it also grumbles about a
file execvp being missing or unable to open.
I tried reinstalling xfs but it didn't help. I also tried "upgrading" my
system to 7.1 again but it didn't fix the problem.
Any suggestions?
I can run little diagnostic commands and send back output to people.
My system runs OK at the command line level and the new disk is still there.
For some funny reason the cups printing system is also down.
I also have mysql on the system which I installed on the new disk. It seems
to boot up OK.
All the best,
Michael Fothergill
