Strange, I just got one as a temporary replacement for my old Matrox (I am into imaging i.e. picture quality is more important than speed and performance) and I have no problems with 4.1 (RH 7.2) Tux racer zips around as if I had a much faster CPU than my old AMD K2-350... I would look for the problem elsewhere... Lionel --- Dexter Filmore <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:

However, in Mandrake Linux 8.0 (Xfree86 v. 4.0.x) or 8.1 (Xf86 ver. 4.1.x) it doesn't work in the graphics mode at all (the framebuffer (or how it is called) in the graphical installation works, but when i try the settings of Xwin system, the screen goes blank and after a few seconds the monitor turns into a power-saving state. Then, the installer goes back to the settings menu without any error messages.) With a nVidia Geforce2 MX all run perfectly. I don't know what to do. Please help me.
