Hi, I am having problems with my video setup. I am running redhat 7.2 (2.4 kernel), XF86 4.1.0. My hardware is an ATI mach64 (Expert@work (LOL)) and a ViewSonic VP150 lcd panel.
My problem is that my LCD display has an annoying flicker to it, no matter what refresh configuration I use. I think it may be the driver, as I just switched from the software vga driver to the accelerated ati driver. This display is connected to a KVM switch, and my Win2K laptop drives it just fine. The laptop is driving the monitor at the same vertical refersh (75 Hz). Any ideas what causes the flicker here? Is it the ATI driver?
