I am trying to install XFree 3.3.6 on a Toshiba Tecra 500CS. I am running XF86Setup using the following parameters.
Mouse: /dev/wsmouse Keyboard: Generic 101 Video: CT65550, SVGA server, 2MB of memory Monitor: Hor 25-64, V 40-70 Modeselection: 800x600, 24 bpp With the above selection I get the following message Unable to start server, press enter to continue. So I press enter and then get a grotesquely large X-window curser and a coarse background - and nothing else. I have tried adjusting the parameters incrementally but to no avail. I am running OpenBSD 3.0. I had the machine working with OpenBSD 2.9. I had used xf86config for the original setup but now all I get is a caught signal 11 error. I would appreciate any suggestions.
