Hi, I'm no developer and certainly don't speak Klingon. I'm running icepack-linux 1.1, and I'm trying to compile the 4.1.0 version of X, and when I type 'make World', the process seems to go okay until it comes to compiling the 'string.h' file, indicating an error with 'void /*' and 'arithmetic' something or other. Sorry, I don't have the original output in front of me, as I have to access the net through my Windows partition.
Also, I don't really understand what in the world I'm supposed to do before I type 'make World'. I don't know how I'm supposed to edit the files that I'm supposed to or anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sincerely, Justin Rosander _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
