Hi Carl, Thank you for your response. The answers to your questions: That's not possible, that's absolutly sure, that the program is doing OpenGL things :-). I guess, that was one of the first OpenGL based softwares on the market. You may be right, that the XF86 doesn't support the GLX extension, but there are some things, that suggest to me the that does. - One of the two packages, one should download and install for nVidia cards is called NVIDIA_GLX_... What is it, if not the GLX support? (I know, the DGL is NOT supported, but as I know, that's another story.) - I can run some other OpenGL based programs from the same IRIX box. - I found on the net, that it's possible to run this program using a Linux box, supporrting OpenGL, as a terminal, but unfortunatelly, there was no info about the setup procedure.Those above are the things, why I thought, I've just missed some setup. The answer to your last question is: yes, it will. That's all, what I can tell you now, and the question is still open.
