Ok now..
I am going to try the CVS version of XFree this weekend..
I need someone to point me in the right direction.
What steps should I do to get the CVS downloaded and installed???

I downloaded the 'xc' module from the cvs archive..
which I am assuming is the first step..
now what?
do I need to patch something? or will the VE dual-head work
automatically with the CVS version?

People let me know what todo next...

And BTW for all the other Radeon VE owners...

XFree86 4.1.0 did work with the DVI output..
I have 2 19" Monitors..
when they made the driver work for the Radeon VE.. they disabled the
regular VGA output. the DVI one works.. there was a connector in the box
with your Video Card... it connects to the DVI output and then looks
like a standard VGA output.. this one WILL work..
actually.. I remember when 4.0 first came out.. and patching it to get
the Radeon working..
It actually in X had the same output to both monitors but still wouldn't
'dual-head'.. XineRama.. with the way the patch was.. didn't work..
So they actually approached the video card from a different angle in
4.1.0.. which works.. but disables the vga output...
waiting for 4.2 is taking way too long..
So I want to get the CVS version running .. dual-headed.. and XineRama
:-D.. can't wait..

People email me and let me know.. whats next....
The 'xc' module just downloaded.
