Am I correct to assume that you're using XFree86 v.3.3.6 that's the default with FreeBSD 4.4 (if you don't know, I'm correct)? Are you using the graphical X configuration tool XF86Setup from the sysinstall menu, or the text-based one (xf86config), or something else? If XF86Setup, well, how does that look? does it come up useable? > Am I in the correct place to ask for help ? Please bare with me, > learning as fast as I can. Just keep reminding yourself when things are unfamiliar, that "different from Windows" generally means "much nicer than Windows", especially with FreeBSD. -- Remember, more computing power was thrown away last week than existed in the world in 1982. -- http://www.tom.womack.net/computing/prices.html _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
