Well as u say, it's free. Windows costs money. If u legally purchase it. U want a stable X sys with support and all that, check out www.xig.com but don't come running here complaining about the price.
Tho I feel a lil with u, linux is giving me hard times as well. Tho once it runs I usually hav no probs... unless I upgrade hardware.
