Hi,
I am having problems trying to set up an Xfree86 system. I am using Red Hat
7.0 release and XFree86 Version 4.0.1a
It is installed on a P150 using an old Tseng Labs ET400 video card and an
svga monitor.
I've tried using Xconfigurator but it continually returns probe errors. I
have edited the XF86Config file to what I _think_ it should be but
continuallly get a
'Fatal server error:
Caught signal 11. Server aborting'
message when trying to run startx. I've seen a few other people with a
similar error but at different points in the loading process and there
doesn't seen to be a 'fix' that I have seen yet.
My XF86Config and log files are below. Any suggestions on where to look
next would be appreciated.
Regards
Alan
