i compiled the kernel also with gcc3.0.3 .
i have problems compiling XF410 too, make World runs well
but make install exits in the near of the scanpci module with linker
errors.
on the other hand i made a link gcc->myoldgcc2 and tried this
with XF420 but the result is the same as with gcc3.0.3 .
the 'failed' XF410/gcc3.0.3 runs anyway (the features i need work)
so i'll use this for now because i need all that for an interactive
art installation which will last for only 3 days.
