Hi all!

I made a few upgrades to my system including X. I started
by the kernel. I use Red Hat 7.2 with an Athlon Classic
700 and 256 Mb RAM, I upgraded the kernel from 2.4.7-10 to
2.4.9-21 compiled for athlon processors. I downloaded and
installed version 4.2 of X, also on irc.redhat.com
#xfree86 someone told me to download an RPM version, so I
did. Now after I upgraded kernel and X from the binaries
from XFree86's binary distro I lost my graphical loggin,
checking into the rest of the mailing list I hopefully
know how to solve this problem, but when trying to upgrade
X 4.2 to the RPM version (it is a newer build) then I am
told that kernel-drm 4.2.0 is needed by XF 4.2

Also DRI is not working with the X upgrade my video card
is an ATi Radeon 7200 (basically a Radeon SDR with 64 Mb
RAM). Any ideas?

How could I install from binaries from XFree86's page if
this kernel-drm 4.2.0 is not installed? and if you know,
where can I get it? My system reports that I am currently
using an older version of kernel-drm installed by the
kernel upgrade. I do not want to install the kernel via
souce because I am still a newbie to Linux.

Thanks in advance for any information you could provide me
with.

PS: I know that some of you will say that the current RPM
versions are unsupprted, but I hope to get DRI working by
installing this way.
