Just solved my own problem (sort of). Collect the Mandrake distro and put it in the garbage and use RH 7.2. Poof, like magic it works right out of the box. Even identified the card and the monitor.

Now anyone know how to route the video to the composite video out ???

Thanks

Tom

OK ! I give up ! How the hell are you supposed to get this to work !!! The DrakConf is useless. Do I need to update to the latest XFree86? Sacrifice a virgin ? Kill a chicken ?

The ATI board has the Rage Theatre chip on board, a sticker that says
AT-GC32-FURY-PRO. Another sticker says R128P SD32M. Another sticker says

R128P
AGP
63212

All I wnt to do is get this up and watch some MPEG video thru the composite video on the back.

(Yes it has VIVO and SVideo out)

I believe that the version of XFree86 with this distro is 4.1

Any help is appreciated
