Hey, I have some problems getting my Elsa Gloria XXL (AGP) to work with XFree 4.1.0 on a Suse 7.3 Linux with 2.4.10 SMP kernel on a Tyan Tiger 2460 mobo. According to the manual, the card uses a GLINT MX as "graphics processor" (with "16 MB VRAM), a Permedia 2 as "graphics chip" (with "2MB video memory") and a GLINT GAMMA as "graphics coprocessor". There are "24MB EDO-RAM for Z-buffer and textures" on the board.
My first question is: Which of these three chips is the one I have to use for my XF86Config? With both the Permedia and the MX I can run 1280x1024 in 8 bit depth. Using higher color depths does not work (neither of 15,16,24 bpp). How can I configure this card for supporting 1280x1024 @ 24bpp? How do I configure the other 2 chips and what about all the different kinds of memory on the card, do I have to configure them, too? Is there a sample XF86Config for this card somewhere?
