Is there an actual reason to expect this will help, or is it just general advice?? Assuming that it really WILL help, I notice here: http://www.xfree86.org/pipermail/xpert/2001-November/012731.html that Mike Harris this past November was working on getting 4.2.0 into an RPM-able state. Is that done now?
