Hi! I sent the attached data (below) to [EMAIL PROTECTED], but
after reading their response I feel uncertain that I'll get a
response.
I'm running FreeBSD on an i386. When I tried to set up XFree86, it
seemed successful. But when i tried to run startx, I got a fatal
server error.
(EE) Unable to locate/open config file
(EE) error from xf86HandleConfigFile()
I'm stumped. Can anyone tell me what to do now?
BTW, I found that someone got the same error I did
(http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg29463.html),
and his e-mail got a response too. But I can't figure out in what
language the letter or response are written. That might be my answer!
Can anyone help me with (I think) a Slavic language?
Thanks!
Rick

I (Rick Eisner - newbie) tried this install and got this message late
night. It seems to be so close to an install that I don't want to
invalidate it now, so I'm asking for your help.
