No need to promise anything and no garantee of success..
Since you have NT on the machine why don't you look into the win NT monitor driver inf 
files.
I am currently not on  a NT machine but on win 98 it used to be in the various
/windows/inf/monitor*.inf making a search with DELL should get you close to home. In 
w98 a fair
amount of modes for DELL can be found in monitor3.inf (by no mean he only place)
