[Newbie]Dell Precision M40 - SaX2 with Suse 7.3

Hello all,   does anybody have an idea how to setup the SaX with the M40 so that I can get true color?   With the new nvidia drivers I can go up to 1600x1200 but only 16 bits... SaX2 crashes when testing other resolutions...   thanx yp
