Hello All,
Wonder if anyone could help me solve a blocking problem
that is not allowing me to use X.
I have successfully configured dualhead and am currently
running "X" with dualhead support. I intended to configure
the same on another machine and almost succeeded...Almost !
The new machine successfully generates the XF86Config file.
Strangely, the XFree86 version is "4.1.0", but the config
file it uses is /etc/X11/XF86Config; NOT /etc/X11/XF86Config-4.
This is not a serious problem, though.
The dualhead actually comes up. The Server Layout also
appears to be fine.
Problem : The "X" starts on both screens. The "X" cursor shows
up on Screen 0. But, moving the cursor to the right/left does
not move the cursor to the other screen !
- Any ideas ?
- I might be missing something........
- Please do let me know of any suggestions to close this blocking
problem.
The XF86Config file looks like this :
