Unfortunately, originally the config was JUST like that and it ABSOLUTELY did not work
at all.
(it tries to configure a mode that it not supported at all by the LCD and the display
just get
very very bad.)
The only way I managed to get a "nearly" nice picture was to SET the HorizSync value
to between 38 and 39... Any value above 39 will make the screen go FULL WHITE, very
scary,
looks like burning... any value under 37 and I cannot get the card to sync with the
screen.
After reading many messages I was under the impression that the problem came from the
card
since I managed to get a more or less clean screen. For some other cards, smearing
effects have
come with "fifo" trouble....

I don't know how to do better.

Sorry for the PC, but I really need it, it is an excellent machine and if I cannot
configure
Linux, I will probably revert it to its original Windows license.... (horror scream in
the background)
But there must be a way since the graphical install of redhat 7.2 went flawlessly!

cheers,
Guillaume
