The SVGA server is installed. Shouldn't it > be able to auto detect the Millennium card? Hmmm. XF86_MGA is version 3 XFree86, not 4.2.0. Looks like you still have traces of a previous version. Go to /usr/X11R6/bin and make sure X is a symlink to XFree86, and not to XF86_anything_else. Then try "XFree86 -configure". That should create an XF86Config file in the current directory, which you can copy to /etc/X11/XF86Config. That should get you started. Let us know if it doesn't. > > Thank you, > Michelle > -- Remember, more computing power was thrown away last week than existed in the world in 1982. -- http://www.tom.womack.net/computing/prices.html _______________________________________________ Newbie mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] *** To unsubscribe , or change message options, see: http://XFree86.Org/mailman/listinfo/newbie
