Okay I am running 4.4.stable loaded XFree86 4.2 from a port fresh install no
previous versions of X exsisted on the machine. When I go to configure X  I
am supposr to get the gray test pattern. I don't I have supplied all the
information I think may lead to a solution. If you need more let me know.
