I have a problem I think is X-related, and I wonder if anybody knows of a solution.
I recently got a Logitech Wingman Gamepad, which when connected does something to X. Anytime I start X with the pad connected to the computer X starts and then locks up, not accepting any input from mouse or keyboard. The Linux system below still works, but I can’t access it, since X won’t even respond to ctrl-alt-backspace. When I start X with the pad disconnected everything works fine.
The system kernel 2.4.18 with low latency & preemptive patches. (I have not yet built in drivers for the pad) Xfree86 4.2.0 with enlightenment. GeForce 2 MX 400 with nvidia’s drivers Wingman pad connected to Soundblaster Live 5.1 value Gameport with ALSA drivers.
I would greatly appreciate any help/suggestions.
Thanks.
