I had my first crash of Red hat 7.3 yesterday. I was unable to bring it
back up right away. There seamed to be a problem with the ide connections.
After unpluging & repluging them in the system would start, but xwindows
will not. I use to have X start upon startup. If I type in startx, I get
the message that xauth has problems with libXmuu.so.1 It could not find
it.. I found the correct directory were it should be. When I do a ls on
the directory. it shows many files but on the libXmuu.so.1 it says
something like input/output error
I think it shows this for several lib files. How do I recover from this.
Is it just a matter of coping the file back there?
Thanks for any help.
