My first attempt was messy, so I started again. I now have a trace that is largely OK, but has some extraneous bits in - probably because I didn't start and stop cleanly. I understand that uploading the trace confirms that I have walked it, but should I clean up the trace, then upload it before doing any editing, such as creating ways? I'm not really clear about the sequence.
