My standard technique is to import all data from the GPS with GPSBabel, and then empty the GPS ready for next time (I also have a yellow etrex, with a very small memory, so I have to) When mapping (in JOSM), I go through my hand written notes in the order I made them, each line on the paper is for a waypoint on the GPS with extra notes to the right of the page. I follow the trace in the order I made it, so to help myself recall what I saw. -- Regards, Thomas Wood (Edgemaster) _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
