Honest reply? Yes, I do. More to the point, I think that, tomorrow or today if possible, you need to recognise that we are all volunteers, working in our free time, for the love of it. So yes, I'd rather it was some other editor author, not me, spending the time to tell you that, because then I can get on with something useful. Yes, ideally I would have updated the changelog at the same time. Yes, the undelete function doesn't cover every eventuality. On the other hand, an improved Potlatch without a changelog comment yet (and every single release _has_ been documented there, so clearly it'll come) is evidently better than no improved Potlatch. On the other hand, no other OSM tool has undelete, full stop. I don't know how many hours you have in your day, but I only have 24, and for the past week-and-a-half most of them have been dedicated to a hairy deadline in the day job - keeping the roof over my head, which OSM doesn't actually do. I simply haven't had time to do the bells and whistles. That time which I have been able to spare for Potlatch development has gone into fixing a (much more important) problem which another user reported, via the proper channels, in a really helpful, friendly way, complete with steps to reproduce and warm words. That helps. That helps a lot. You can write "surely it should this" and "surely it should that" all you like. Yes. I know. Unless you can magic those extra hours from somewhere, it doesn't make it happen. cheers Richard _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
