> I've recently walked some paths which included part of the Saxon Shore > Way. Searching on the OSM wiki I've established that the relation exists > for this & its reference appears to be 8864 b a r j (not entirely sure > what this all means)
The 'b a r j' links are different ways to look at the relation: ### - the relation link shows the raw OSM XML relation definition B - accesses an OSM web page that details the relation A - Detailed analysis of the relation, looking for unconnected segments, etc R - Brings up the OSM Route manager for the relation (I'm not sure what this does) > I'm now trying to map this using JOSM. The relation pane in JOSM is > showing me other relations that are in the area, but I can't find out > how to get it to show me this existing relation. ... continuing links J - Loads the relation in JOSM - this is the easiest way to load it, but you'll first need to install the "Remote Control" plugin. The only other way is to download an area containing a way you already know to be in the relation. _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
