I've avoided trying to do anything with this mess... We have grade level intersection of a dual carriageway (Cloverbar Road) running roughly N/S, with two non-divided ways (Craigavon Drive & Highland Drive) intersecting perpendicular to the first way. Both Craigavon and Highland have decorative dividers separating the opposing traffic lanes for about 100 meters either side of the intersection. Right hand and left hand turns are allowed for traffic moving in all directions, however traffic is not allowed to drive straight across the intersection from Craigavon to Highland, nor vice-versa. How do you tag this intersection without making it look like a complete dog's breakfast? http://www.openstreetmap.org/?lat=53.5338798165321&lon=-113.263233304024&zoom=18 The thought process behind this is to keep through traffic out of residential areas, but all it does for traffic that needs to get from one neighborhood to the next, is that you have to detour through yet another neighborhood in order to get turned around and back to the intersection from a new direction. Not the smartest design concept in my mind. James VE6SRV _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
