Austin,

It looks like a typical alley, although I don't see many garages lined up along it. Is there some ground reason why you think it is not an alley, such as pedestrian use? Or is there a tradition in your area of other uses? I've got a similarly ambiguous situation in Pacific Palisades (part of LA). Are these short ways driveways or alleys (because they serve multiple units)? I chose "driveway," but, they have names (like many of the alleys in Santa Monica right next door), so I wonder if it should be "alley" instead. Here's the link (Google Maps): http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF8&ll=34.077314,-118.558871&spn=0.001455,0.002411&t=h&z=19

Hey everyone,

Quick question, what do most people tag this as? I was thinking highway=service, and service=alley, but I'm not positive on that.
