If you are in or around Kitchener-Waterloo please do come and join us. Our meetups are very casual and aimed entirely at introducing mappers to mappers. You'll meet other new and experienced OSMers, have a chance to compare plans and goals, ask questions. Usually we go over the editors for those with questions, too. You can set up a local meetup and help other local mappers. You can do this. You don't even have to be the expert at the meetup, all you have to do is organize it a little tiny bit. Pick a location and a date and do it. You will be surprised at how many other mappers there are nearby. Some of them will just be waiting for somebody, YOU, to set the date. Do this.
