I remove it when I've adjusted the road geometry to match the satellite imagery. After physically going there and taking a pic of the signs and resolving any inconsistency, I tag the way with e.g.: source=usgs_imagery;survey;image source_ref=AM909_DSCU5105 where DSCU5105 is the serial number (filename) of the picture. Thinking about it further, it's probably correct to add source=usgs_imagery (or yahoo_imagery) at the same time as removing the tiger:reviewed tag.
