I've made my first effort at using JOSM (Mac 10.5.8, broadband
connection). It works up to a point, and looks like it will be really
useful if I can get past that point. Which is, I have never been able
to get the background Yahoo imagery to download and display. Instead I
get red tiles containing the text "Exception occurred". Once in a very
rare while I can get partial Landsat imagery to download and display,
which leads me to believe I actually have figured out the webkit-image
and path steps in the installation instructions (I am not very
Terminal/Unix savvy), but I have never gotten the Yahoo imagery to
display. One of my co-workers has no trouble doing this on his Windows
machine at work. I would welcome any suggestions for getting this to
work on my Mac.
