I was relieved to find it was not me. Someone else also could not SAVE yesterday morning. and posted to [email protected] wondering why. No one responded to him. I was able to save this afternoon.

I was wondering why my afternoon updates did not render and was going to ask you. However you are one step ahead of me, "nature" is obviously not "natural".
I will fix that in the morning.

Thanks.

the history text!

Anyone have any idea as to what my problem is?

Not quite sure what the question is, so having a hard time coming up
with an answer.

So, it sounds like you are editing with save on Potlatch. You complete
your editing and click on Save. The dialog box that allows you to put
a comment in to describe your change set opens. Click okay, and the
next dialog shows the upload happening. Then you get dropped back to
the editing screen. Now you can simply click the view tab to leave the
editor. If you continue editing, and subsequent edits will get
uploaded without the description dialog opening, because this new
information being edited is still part of the same change set.

There's the information on the change set from when you changed the
tags on the Turkey Hill Pond... you made a bit of a boo-boo though.
You've got the lake tagged as nature:water instead of natural:water.
The lake won't render due to the the incorrect key.
