Welcome to OpenStreetMap.
There are a couple of reasons why your points of interest might not appear.
First, it might take longer for the maps to update. Updates on the
mapnik layer can be as fast as a few minutes, but sometimes hours or
days, depending on server load and zoom level.
yes, and i've seen cases where i entered a bunch of POIs and a mapnik
update occurred partway through, so the earlier ones showed up and
the later ones didn't appear until mapnik made another pass through.
you need to learn to expect a probable time lag and not worry about it.
go back to the edit view to confirm that the missing POIs are really there.
