Ok. Having looked into it, it's basically an issue with clicking 'edit' by a track that hasn't been loaded into the OSM database yet (i.e. one that says PENDING). In this case, the Rails site code won't have figured out what the start lat/long of the track is, so it won't pass anything through to P2, and P2 will therefore default to its arbitrary start location. At some point in the future I'll look into retrofitting P1's ability to find the start point itself if Rails doesn't supply one (it won't be trivial though). In the meantime, the easiest thing to do is to start editing at the place you want to edit (by getting there with the slippy map then clicking Edit), then use the 'My tracks' dialogue (on P2's GPS Data menu) to load the track you want. cheers Richard -- View this message in context: http://gis.638310.n2.nabble.com/Default-location-on-Potlatch-2-and-lost-GPX-import-ability-tp6298679p6299684.html Sent from the Newbies mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ newbies mailing list [email protected] http://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/newbies
