It should eventually timeout on boot and let you in to fix it (it might take 3 or 4 
minutes). If it doesn't, hit 'i' when it's booting to go into interactive
boot. Just start up all the services except for sendmail. Then you should be able
to open up a terminal and do what Byron said.
